NCIS Fan?

OK I'm addicted also. I have been watching the reruns on USA. I just relized one of the kids who went to my preschool and left for CA to ba an actor landed a big part on one of the shows!! Yeah Joey!!!

I love Abby and Gibbs. I'm a Baby Sign Language Instructor. I love trying to figure out what they are signing.

Jacca, that's the problem with Dr. Mallard: if you let him start a story, he never seems to finish it - he just goes on and on and on...

I've been under the weather and not on here much...I see I'm way behind on my own thread!

Story behind the seasons 1-6...I thought I had gotten a great deal on e-bay, turns out they are bootleg! I'm disputing it and it seems like e-bay doesn't really care that this is illegal. The seller wants me to return it to them and then they will refund my money! Yeah right! They lied once, why should I trust them to refund my money?! I'm waiting on the dispute to be decided. I will dispute it with my credit card company as well. So, I ordered it from Wal-Mart (best price) and it should be here tomorrow, I can hardly wait!!! I Wal-Mart's web site, seasons 1-6 were $180, I didn't think that was too bad. Doorbell just rang...it's here!!!!

So....my fav. character...that's so hard to say, I really love them all. I would have to say Gibbs is first, Abbey, Tony (he's such a smart a**), Ziva, Dr. Mallard, McGee. The older episodes I saw, I did like Kate as well.

I'm going to get started on my box set! What a perfect day for it to arrive!

BOOTLEG...BAD!!! I sure hope they make it right! I think your credit card company would want to. You know it's illegal to just possess bootlegs?

Oh my God, I just found this thread and I can't believe it!!!!!!
Boilerbabe, this is just ANOTHER of the many things we have in common!!!
DW and I are both devoted NCIS fans! We love it! I'm so jealous that you have a complete box set! I've been tempted to do the same, just to catch up on some of the episodes we've missed, but overall I think I have a pretty good handle on all the little sub-plots and continuing story lines, so I don't know if it's worth spending that much money.
I would have to say that Ziva is my all-time favorite character (DW agrees). We like her much better than Kate (...not to say we DIDN'T like Kate, of course) because she is more complex, and can really kick a**. I love the Mossad connection; it adds an air of mystery and suspense just under the surface. Her little screw-ups with the language are pretty funny, too.
I'd also have to say that I do like Ducky a lot. He is very intellectual, and an expert psychologist, but they keep that low-key with his eccentricities in the forefront. I think they wrote his character that way on purpose so that you have to be into that sort of thing to pick up on it and appreciate it.
Naturally everybody loves Gibbs. What man doesn't want to be like him? I know I do. And of course, you gotta love Abby because she's so exotic, and pretty sensitive for a Goth girl.
Shoot, I guess overall you have to appreciate each character. They are all done with depth and personality, so they each have their good and bad points. Just a well-written show all around, I would have to say!

Mousekedude, you know that Ziva has left the Mossad and is now with NCIS on her own. She's going through the process to become an American citizen. And you covered everyone in the cast except for one person...most interesting...(I know Tony would be taking it overboard that he got overlooked)...

Thanks for the get well wishes Jacca!

Could you all believe that I work for a hospital, I will be returning to work tomorrow even though I'm still sick. If you're out for 3 days or more, you have to return with a dr. note?! I refuse to go to a dr. office and sit with more sick people and pay for an office visit to tell them I have sinuses and they'll tell me to keep flushing my sinuses. It makes me so angry!

Anyway, M-dude, I had no idea you and Amber loved NCIS?! I have to say, I made it through disc 1 this afternoon and it has exceeded my expectations! I really love Kate now I that I see the earlier episodes. Her and Ziva have such different personalities, it's hard to compare them. I just love Tony, he makes me laugh! Tony reminds me of a cross between my DH and dad! I mean that in a loving way, he's such a smart a**!

With the e-bay thing...I'm surprised that e-bay does not seem to care that this person is selling bootleg! Should I call the police?

I really just want my money back.

Ebay has always been good about bootlegs and getting money back. I have it had two times before with soundtrack CDs I bought on Ebay. If you paid through PayPal you can dispute it with PayPal.
