April fools virus

I agreee, why bother sending out those nasty virus things? Who invented them? Why take the time, only to say I did that? And then you can't tell because you would get into trouble!
Try C cleaner, it's free ware that cleans all the trash out of your registry. It works really well. I use it and I've used it on a few friends computers. I think you'll be pleasantly surprised at the results.

Thanks Jacca5660! I have seen this on the shelf at best buy, but you say it's free? Hey, what can I loose? I think the LiveOne Care did something with registry cleaner also...

Did it work?

Well, over the weekend I did install it on my daughters laptop, and no, did not see any difference. It's very slow. I thought of re-installing Vista, since I have the disk, she just about dosn't have anything on it, no programs as such, so it wouldn't be hard to redo. I am just not too sure abuot the reinstall, I've done Windows 98 before, just not Vista and do not want to run into any problems.

Have you thought about maybe installing Windows XP. I have yet to hear anything good about Vista and I know a few people who have gone back to XP. Good luck! ;+>

Yes, I've thought abuot it, we do have it on one of our computers, that my husband uses at work, it has both.
