We don't even get lows that low.
Then you don't get much "lows" in the dead of winter... ugh. I refuse to visit Blizzard Beach when I go to Disney --- why would anyone from Northern MI want to see snow on vacation?????

That's the exact same reason we've never been to Blizzard Beach! We are just outside of Chicago, we see enough snow every winter! :x

What wouldn't I give for "dry" heat? Temperatures in the 90s and 100s with tons of humidity is just disgusting.

I live in Sacramento and it has been warm here not too bad heat wise, but it is the smoke from all the surrounding areas that is the killer. It is pretty much recommended that you stay indoors if possible, and since I have kids, that's what I try to do. It isn't too bad, as that means that I can listen to sonic a bit more.

I really love getting out of work at three in the afternoon, walking outside, and feeling like someone is standing in front of me with a hairdryer in my face.... By the time I start sweating... it vaporizes right off my skin...

Its been a real heat wave in Jersey and Penn and in NY. not to hot though, just hotter than normal. I think most of us are really enjoying it, unless you have to work outside in it. Its very humid too which is good for preventing droughts. Last year when I went to Disney it ended up being hotter here than in Florida for a good part of the vacation. Image

it's been REALLY humid here in the Buffalo area. I'm an outside sales rep, and it sucks when your car air-conditioning fails.

Eastern Maine.
I've generally been sweating my socks off.
At mid 80s.
Of course, I'm the idiot who wears a t-shirt and shorts in low 40s.
And I've never known why people complain about the "cold" room in Test Track.

This is exactly what happened when I was in WDW in July. It was supposedly extremely hot and humid in NJ and it was really pleasant in Florida.

I think I'd actually spend more in gas getting down there than it would cost for me to have it fixed. but, thanks for the offer...

oh, and I know all about the heat down there. I used to live in Brunswick, GA, about an hour North of Jacksonville. at the same time, I was working in a hotel kitchen. so, it got REAL hot in there in the summertime...

We are in the middle of August here and it actually feels a little like September here right now (or at least it did yesterday). We're in the upper 80's - really weird for August in Atlanta. I remember last year around this time that the power kept going out because it was so hot. Now I have to sleep with a comforter because I get cold at night... Crazy.
