technically ManU is no longer competeting for the League Cup, they are in the lead for the Premiership Championship, but the Carling Cup final is between Chelsea and who else? oh yeah my Gunners!!!

Did I say League Cup? I did not mean that, my apologies.

Well while United is tearing through Europe, Arsenal will be at home after getting trounced by Liverpool and missing out on the Champions League, so nyeah! There's still the UEFA Cup, Gunners!

Actually Liverpool is going to lose to Barca first, and Arsenal are going to cruise past PSV so I am not really sure what you are talking about, but the Gunners are going to make it to the Champions League final again this year and they are going to take it all!!!!

Too bad about your Guners, broncoflyer... Drogba can be too much for anyone, it seems.

Looks like both our sides are into round five replays in the FA Cup as well... Man U still on pace for one hell of a treble if they can take the Premiership, FA Cup, and Europe!!

Too bad about John Terry, that injury is also going to hurt the Three Lions. Yeah I like how you almost got beaten by our second team, at least the Gunners give their youth a chance to play and develop which goes to show that Arsenal is very deep which is more than I can say for your Red Devils, which are prolly going to lose yougn C. Ronaldo at the end of the season.

It would be Sir Alex's choice if that were the case... Cristiano Ronaldo is on contract with the Reds until the end of the 2009/2010 season.

And was the right time to "give their youth a chance" really the League Cup final?

hey that youth got them to the League Cup Final, no sense in changing that chemistry, plus Arsenal still has an FA Cup replay, the Champions League, and important Premiership games to worry about. I admire Arsene Wenger for sticking with the young lads. Walcott, Denilson, and Adebayor are just some of the immense talent Arsenal have coming off the bench.

By the way, I think it's fun / funny that we're the only two here who apparently care about English football... since, among other things, we're both Americans!

(ok that's an assumption on my part... your profile says you live in America, and I'm assuming you are, indeed, American)

Also, Walcott will be amazing if he lives up to the hype surrounding him. But that's not yet a sure thing.

haha yes indeed I am American, born and raised, but sometimes I truely wish I lived in England. They have such a great culture, and of course they have real football. Yeah I find it funny when I wear my Arsenal stocking cap around and people are like "who the heck is that?" and I have to explain to them its a British football team and most of the time they can't believe I would follow that.

Yes, Arsenal has really developed some really good talent, Walcott for one and my other favorite, Cesc Fabregas. I also love van Persie, he is a really good player and I was sad to see him go down in the game against the Red Devils, but he did score a goal in that game so it was almost worth it I think lol.
