I have a huge collection of Christmas DVDs, so there are a lot of "must watch" specials or shows every year.

As for my favorite...I guess I'd go with the claymation "Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer" and "Santa Claus is Coming to Town." Oh, and Frosty the Snowman, though animated, is lumped in with those for me.
No fear hath ye of evil curses, says you.
Arrrrrr.
Properly warned ye be, says I.

How is it that no one has mentioned the Star Wars Christmas Special. I know you can't really buy it on dvd or anything, but if your lucky enough to stumble across it you have to watch it. You'll love how bad it is.

Star Wars Christmas Special? I've never heard of such a thing. Intriguing and scary all at the same time. I'm assuming it's not real new?

Nope, not exactly new. Came out after the first movie (A New Hope, not episode I). It basically been removed from existence by George Lucas.

"White Christmas" is my favorite. But, I love to watch all the Christmas specials. I wish that Mickey's Christmas Carol was longer, it is too short. I also LOVE all the Scrooge movies. Not because I'm a Scrooge...LOL! :mickey: :mickey:

I enjoy the various versions of A Christmas Carol... from the Patrick Stewart version to the older ones, like with Alastair Sim (he's hilarious)... to Mickey's Christmas Carol... it's great to see that story every Christmas season.

One of my favorites among them is the one that Albert Finney was in; a musical, it was just soooo bizarre! I remember seeing it for the first time in a re-run threatre with my sixth grade Language Arts class (though I don't remember why we went to see it).

Christmas in July! LOVE IT! My all time favorites are Charlie Brown and The Year Without a Santa Claus.

Now I think I'm going to have to go request the Epcot Christmas loop! :D

For me:

- A Charlie Brown Christmas
- Miracle on 34th Street, the version with Dylan McDermott, Elizabeth Perkins, & Mara Wilson (1994)
- White Christmas
- A Christmas Carol, with George C. Scott as Ebenezer Scrooge (1984)

I also love these Christmas movies - they're new favorites:
- Elf (I love this movie!!)
- Nativity Story (I know it just came out, but I loved it!)
