That is a big part of the problem with me for audiobooks as well. I feel like I really have to concentrate really hard in order to know what is going on. Thank goodness I never had this problem growing up or I would have really had problems learning things in school

Sorry to hear that - for me, I've never had a problem with audiobook in the car so it's the perfect solution for going to and from work (after all, how much Disney music can you listen to during the day?).

Does the HBO series follow the book or not?

DAR - Excellent choice. I'm on Book 3 now and they just get better.
mindflipper - The first season was almost identical to the book. Just a few small details were added/changed and one character emerged on the show that does not play a big part in the book. (Roz, if anyone is watching/wondering)

Thanks for info, NaCler. I watched the first series, and without some background it could be hard to follow (I re-watched the first episode again after the finale). Also, it felt a bid slow, too, which may not be in its favor to getting renewed for a third season if the second season is as slow as the first.

On topic, I'm currently about halfway through a collection of works by Robert Louis Stevenson.

I'm trying to read The Hunger Games trilogy right now... one of my roommates bought them to preview-read them for her 7th grade niece so I'm borrowing them as she finishes. I don't get the hype.

They're okay but nothing earth-shattering. My biggest complaint is the drawing-out of everything and vague details. Just get to the point, Ms Collins.

Hunger Games trilogy, Ghost in the Wires, and now I am reading Mystery. All of those are highly recommended!
