I really don't like Mr. Ovi so I hope his guarantee falls FAR short. Would be interesting to see #1 in the East fall so easy in the second round.
Yep, fall and fall HARD. But that is life as a CAPS fan. We will never make it past the 2nd Round of the playoffs, it seems. Oh well, now I can root for the Bolts without any guilt. Sorry bud, I'm sure your Rangers would have put up a better fight than my Caps did.
LOL it's okay. The thing that really ticked me off is Ovi tried to do what Mark Messier did in 1994, and that is guarantee a win. I really feel that Mark Messier's promise and guarantee should be an exclusive for him and not be touched by anybody else. As for the sweep, I am happy as I really like the Bolts this year. They play hard and battle back. I had them as my pick in the East before the playoffs started.

As for round 2 of the playoffs. Kind of disappointing that they are all turning into sweeps or 3-0 leads, especially after that first round. Still good to see plenty of overtime action though! BTW: What's happening to the Red Wings?

Not disappointing on this end! And don't give me the "look at what happened last year" BS either!! This is a different Bruins team.

Down but not out yet, hope springs eternal.

Flyers just don't look like they even care. The attitude on the bench and in the third period was not that of a team that is trying to win a stanley cup. We'll see if they can avoid the broom treatment tomorrow night.

AAHHH!! the kiss of death from Sleepy!!! :D

I agree Len. I think it stems from having zero confidence in their goalies. It seems like they feel like no matter how well they play the goaltending is going to let them down in the end.

One of the worst things I have seen on HD TV. You can clearly see the dislocation. I really don't know how he managed to come back into the game.

I actually had to stop eating my buffalo wings. For a few minutes.

Brought back memories of watching LT's hit on Theismann.

Even worse than all of these is the EJ Henderson femur break from a Sunday Night Football game.

And then there were four.

It's good to have the Bruins be the talk of the town again. Been a while. Plus it's kept all the "sky is falling" columnists busy while the Sox try to find their way.

The B's/Bolts series should be a good one. I just want to see Chara standing next to St. Louis just once during the series. What a difference.

It'll be a great series. I don't really have high expectations for the San Jose/Vancouver series. I think Vancouver will take that one in 5, 6 tops.

Len - The way the Bolts have been going. The B's may be the next sweep victim. They didn't look intimidated in Game 1.

I don't see a sweep in any of these series. I was expecting the Bolts to come out big and it is explosions like that 3 goals in the 1:30 range that will propel them to the finals.
