New Die Hard Movies

Post by Josh Q » Nov Mon 24, 2008 2:03 pm

So some may know here that I work in the Film industry and I got word a few months ago that 2 more Die Hard Movies were in the works. Although only 1 will have Bruce Willis in it and Justin Long will star in the other by himself. What is everyone's thoughts on this.

I think they should let it go! And if Bruce Willis isn't going to be in them anymore, what's the point?! I hate when they make sequels with new cast. I think the movie loses what it started it out to be.

I agree. Lets hope they don't get made and Bruce and Justin find better job offers!

Are you serious? This is just getting ridiculous now. People have no originality anymore so they resort to making sequels or remakes of movies that were good/bad before.

there hasn't been an original story to tell in movies in a long time. ALL movies are basically taking elements of 1 story, and trying to add effects and other details to make it SEEM original.

Yeah, that is true too. While I do love a good novel adaptation (with the exception of Twilight because I can't stand it), I just want to see something interesting and original for a change. It's been a long time since something exciting and original came on the big screen.

Original? What does that mean? Lol. Oh by original you mean like Saw 6 that's starting up and set to release next year. Gotcha. AHHHH!!!! Please God let there be an original movie soon!

As a puppeteer I'm very much so hoping that Disney finally green lights Fraggile Rock the movie! Not to original but that will be a blast to work on!

Oh dear god, don't even mention the Saw movies. They tend to push the envelope with gore and all that and it's ridiculous. However, I remember reading an article on a list of the many sequels that are in talks/in the works.
