Anyone watch this show on Sci-Fi? Ironically i have a friend that stayed with us and he started to watch it last year. said i would enjoy it. i never got around to watching it. well....as it turns out he was in our guest room (stayed a couple of months) and thats where we had the DVR. i showed him how to set it up...and he set Eureka to record. later he moved out...we moved the DVR into our Bedroom and i erased everything in it. but it had the memory still set to record Eureka. so almost a year passes and one day i'm looking through the DVR memory and find 12 episodes in a row...the entire 1st season. Now the first episode was different and odd..but we continued to watch the following episodes....now i'm hooked. its one of the best series i've seen in a long long time...well at least back to Firefly. i would suggest everyone give it a shot...but the problem would be finding these episodes to watch. blockbuster mail program has them. Check them out if you get a chance...its great!
.....next week we preview the Tyra Banks show...good or just trash talk?

Heh - 'accidentally' having the whole season is pretty cool. I liked the commercials I've seen for Eureka (the sort of fake PSAs they did in the summer), but it's not on at a good time for me to watch.
Comparing it to Firefly, though, makes me curious. I loves me some Firefly. Maybe I'll netflix them...

I haven't watched the Sci-Fi channel since they took Farscape off the air. as such, this is the first that I've heard of this show. What's it about?

its about a small secluded town in Oregon that is actually a front for a high tech facility where the genius's of the world work on things we only dream about and make them reality. picture Mayberry meets Star Trek. the humor is awesome. The Sheriff has a daughter that is 15 and their relationship is so funny to watch since my daughter is 13, we both laugh at the jokes extra hard while pointing fingers at each other.js3901 wrote:I haven't watched the Sci-Fi channel since they took Farscape off the air. as such, this is the first that I've heard of this show. My recomendation is to Netflix or Blockbuster(only via mail not in store for some reason...at least where i live) watch the first episode knowing it may seem odd...but stick with it and watch the next two episodes...you should be hooked by then....(why do i feel like a drug pusher?)
Now about Tyra Banks.
she is not in Eureka.
