wow, that's impressive in a month and a half, use over half of the space!

I did the same thing with music on my original XBOX when I first got it, just copied all of my favorite albums to the hard drive and then had no room to save games.

Some of those demos are massive...1.2 gigs or so. Plus I also have every XBLA game trial saved.

They are massive, but I delete them after I've played them. For the most part, there are only so many times you can play a demo.

They're probably going to send you a new one, but with your same hard drive. FYI, they've developed a new heat-sink unit (which has caused a majority of the problems), and extended all warranties, so hopefully this won't be as big a problem.

I've been seriously thinking about getting a 360, and my wife has even given the green light. I think this topic just pushed me over the edge... hopefully I'll be responding soon with my gamertag!

I just got my 360 back the other day and you were right, they did send me a different system. It has a totally different serial number. Microsoft also sent me an apology letter and a free 1 month gold membership to Xbox live. I guess they gave me that because I don't currently subscribe to Xbox live and they want a new customer.

btw get Madden '08 everyone, best football game ever. Looks much better on the 360 then the PS3

If you have a sudden urge to play Two Worlds...don't bother. Or, at least, make sure you rent it first. I never, never, never would buy games before I played a demo or rented them first. Until this game. I was so looking forward to Two Worlds and the prospect of the Multiplayer Cooperative that it offered that we just went down and bought it first.

It is one of the worst games I have ever played. I consider it almost unplayable. The framework is horrendous. I am very disappointed. The multiplayer isn't what they cracked it up to be, either.

Anyway, there's my rant and warning.

If anyone was interested in buying Bioshock, get it. I just bought this game and it is definitely a game of the year candidate.

Does anybody know about the game Overlord? It looks like fun but I heard mixed reviews.

I rented Overlord this week and started playing it today. It's mildly entertaining, but I can already tell my interest is waning. I might buy it for like $15 or something, sometime.

There is a demo on Xbox Live. It is completely indicative of the rest of the game, from what I can tell.

Got my 360 yesterday. Haven't bought a system since the first XBOX, feels good to play the top-of-the-line stuff again.

So far just have NCAA 08 and Oblivion, downloaded the demo of Call of Juarez, and might have to actually look into buying that one...

A Subsonic team would be excellent! Even though I don't have a 360 yet, I'm planning on getting one before the holiday season, and I'll join the team once I get Halo 3 (which will be my first purchase, of course).

Oh man, I bought the original Halo XBOX when it first came out:

I know you all will probably be shocked, but it broke on me a month in and I had to return it. Sadly, they had stopped production on them and I couldn't get a new Halo themed OR an original and they had to refund my money. I was p***, because I loved that thing. I got another original XBOX the day that ESPN NFL 2K5 came out, but it was never the same...

I think I'm probably going to go for the elite from Costco actually, as it's a great price and comes with the stuff I want and nothing I don't want, so that's good (and my wife would never let me have the Halo one in our living room, way too much camo

).
