Do you feel ESPN's Baseball coverage is prejudiced for the East Coast? Is it realy the Yankee - Red Sox network?

That's what gets the ratings, people want to see the rivalry. I'm not a fan of either really. I was a fan of the Sox only when they play the yankees because I despise the yankees.

This is the most lame and inappropriate use of the term "rivalry" possible. I don't mean that directed at you, Ravenscroft. I just hate ESPN and the junk they come up with for marketing.

AMEN!! Why do they call it baseball tonight?? When it should be called the Yankees Tonight!! If it about where the market is? How come Fox Sports seems to be doing OK with their regional stuff??

I don't think Fox Sports would be able to compete with ESPN on an all-national network level. But, I could be wrong. They've done an excellent job with their regional coverage, and I don't know where I'd be without them. The Big 12 has a contract with FSN, and as much as I can't stand their game coverage, that's a lot of football I'd be losing out on without them.

True, so true. ESPN has always determined what we all are interested in. Psssttt...ESPN: Those of us outside of NYC or the East Coast couldn't care less about the Yankees or the Red Sox, just the same as those of us out side of Southern California don't care about USC.

Being a Gator fan, I was so happy with the big win over Ohio. From the way ESPN was reporting, the Gators had no reason to show up. As ESPN was saying, the Gators played all easy teams outside of their conference, and had proved nothing.
The one anomaly. ESPN's NFL coverage. Now that is fair and balanced!
