I may begin building an ark!

Dagone this rain is perpetual here! It has been raining in deluges (ooh - that word that reminds me of the Living Seas movie), almost tropical in nature, since Friday! I'm ready for the sun to come back out!

we had some serious torrential downpours here in WNY on Friday and Sunday. knocked power out several times, couldn;t see a foot in front of your face, just looking outside got you soaked in about a second... But, they didn;t last for long (longest downpour was about 2 hours).

ROFLOL!

The sun is out this morning but we had about 3 inches of rain late afternoon and early evening yesterday. Still have rain/storms in the forecast today. Meanwhile forget the ark, I am living in a jungle now as my lawn has grown overnight into the rainforest it seems!

It was raining so hard here over the weekend the gutters were overflowing - it looked like the backside of water outside my window

It rained for like a half an hour yesterday. It was so hot where I work it was almost unbearable. I wish it would have rained longer.

Well we went from too much rain (now we're having some flooding) to HHH - Hazy, Hot, Humid. Welcome to summer in the mid-Atlantic! If its gonna be like this I should at least be at Disney! :D

Steve - I totally agree! We're in SE PA, and this is the second day in weeks that we've actually had no rain... it's even sunny!

I found out yesterday that there's something that's letting the rain in my car even with the windows & sunroof closed - my passenger side floor was sopping wet. I had my car completely open yesterday after I got done work so that it could dry out... Unfortunately, I forgot to close it, and another thunderstorm went through last night. My husband and I woke simultaniously to a clap of thunder at 3am, said "oh SH_T!", then hubby ran downstairs to close up the car. So, it's open yet again to dry out.

Luckily, though, he got the lawn cut late yesterday afternoon, our our grass would be up to our knees by now!

Is it leaking from the roof down or is it just that the carpets are getting soaked? I had a problem a while ago where if I ran the AC when it was extremly humid, like what we have been having here in Philly, the AC resevoir would back up into the car. It is supossed to release while driving but somtimes it builds up to fast. If it is from the top them I would check your rubber seals for cracks.

Just the front passenger side carpet got wet (until i left the windows and sun roof open in the rain.) I mentioned it to someone when I first noticed, and what she said was that the windshield might have lost its seal. :? I have an appointment for NEXT thursday. Now, if I could only get my garage cleaned up so I could get my car inside.

BTW - I'm in the Philly area, too! (Near Longwood)
