American Idol

Well we were pulling for Chris in a big way and then Elliott (he is from my hometown!) and with those two out we were pulling for Taylor. Anyone have any thoughts on this season?

The only reason I even knew it was over or that Taylor won was because I happened to be watching C-SPAN for my political fix when Senator Sessions mentioned it. Sessions of course had to point out that Taylor Hicks, Bo Bice, and Ruben Studdard were all from the great state of Alabama...

I was a Taylor fan from the get go (Close to my age) and I love the show. I thought Chris would win though. Overall I thought it was a really good season. I think Chris will be the most succesful though especially if he ends up with a band. Great singer and performer. McFever (Spelling?) and Elliot were both very good also. I'll be buying the Taylor CD myself.

It was tough with it up against Lost. I was more into watching Lost though I must admit. I'm a huge Lost fan.

I watched Lost I have never been an Idol fan. I would catch bits and pieces if I channel surfed. I do not mind listening to Taylor but I can't watch him perform. His "'dancing" totally turns me off 8) not that I can dance either......but I just couldn't watch him. He does have a great voice, I am sure he will do very well. I did like Chris, I was hoping he would win.

I know, I know for someone who didn't really watch it I am very opinionated :mickey:

I never watch the show once people get good at singing.

The only part I like is the auditions. Very entertaining to see the people who can't sing.,

I was in WDW when Chris left and I almost cried when he went home. He should have won hands down. I do like Taylor though, I thought he was good from the first time he was on. This was my first time to ever watch the show. I hate to admit it, but now I'm hooked.

I'm a major AI fan! I was really disappointed with the talent this year. Chris should of won, no questions asked. Taylor was OK, but definitely not the best, just fun to watch. Sorry, but I don't get what all the fuss about Elliott was. His voice did nothing for me. Katherine has a great voice, but only two or three really good performances.

Last year was so much better. Both Carrie and Bo were great. By the way, Carrie's CD is really good and I am not a country fan at all!
