I know, but the poor pup was only a few days old. We really hadn't gotten a chance to get too attached to it yet. Still sad, but.....

I know it's sad and sick, but I couldn't help but laugh!!!!
Interesting choice of names by the way....Consternation??? Hmmm, can you imagine wandering up and down the street calling out for your dog..."Consternation!!!! (hollering at top of lungs) Consternation!!! (pulling at hair out of frustration)"
I can imagine the looks, the stares...and the one way ticket to the looney bin for that one

Re: Post a Pic of Your Cat
Until recently, I had three cats. The oldest one, Whiskey, who died not long ago of old age, was a gorgeous american short haired with a coat of many colors. We used to joke that she had a hair for every color clothing you own. We had her for 17 years, so she was just about the same age as me.
The second oldest, who adopted us, is a tiny little black cat named Izzy (short for Ismodeus). She thinks she's a dog, and she'll follow us when we walk our dog. She's also a big hunter, and frequently brings us gifts of mice and birds that are usually just about as big as she is.
The youngest cat was a rescue cat we adopted, so she came with her name: Harlow, after Jean Harlow, the actress. She's the most skittish, especially around new people, but she's such a lovebug once she gets to know you. She's our monster cat, in that she's solid muscle and just large. I call her Moose when she sleeps on me, cause that's exactly what she feels like
I'll put up some pictures once I locate the cats and the camera

Thanks, Amy. I love the name Kiotu (obviously.... duh....), but mainly because it just fits her so well. I can't explain it.... she's just the cutest little thing you could ever see, and with a perfect little princess personality... and yes, she's spoiled rotten because she's daddy's little girl.
One of these days I'll post some really cute pictures I have of her.
Chicery, I like your story and can't wait to see pics of your kitties.

Turns out I apparently lost the pics I had of my kitties the last time my computer crashed. I'll just have to take some more. I'll be sure to post them when I do.

I have a few of Kiotu from my iPhone.

Itsn't she a cutie. Actually I took about 25 shots of her in this setting. She is a natural born kitty model! We love our other cat and the more attention we show here she improves but GOSH...for 10 years we have not slept!!!! I am serious. Audrey is a howler, yowler. I will see if we can find some good pics of her.

Re: Post a Pic of Your Cat
I had fostered a gray & white cat that looked similar. He was the only cat I had seen with a bobtail, so I named him Bobtail (and since he was boy we could call him Bob for short). My cat loves to pose too, and my feral cat Tuxedo (may he rest in peace) was also a natural born kitty model. I had some rough nights with my cat when she moved in, but after a weeks I got her used to the idea of sleeping through the night (some tough-love involved there). Ever since, she's been the pefect roommate.Mouseoholic wrote:I have a few of Kiotu from my iPhone.

Has anybody seen the "How to give your cat a pill" email yet? My friend, who owns cats, sent it to me. I think it is probably too big to post on here @ 1mb. If you are interested send me a pm with your email, it is hilarious!

Yes, Amy, I've seen it... and it's hilarious!!! It's been a while though, so I wouldn't mind seeing it again...
MmeLeota, thanks for the compliment on Kiotu. That little critter has my heart wrapped around her little paw. Those pictures don't even do her justice. She looks scraggly there, and I'm surprised my Mouse would even post them. I'll get some good ones for ya...

This is my cat Patches hanging out in the sun in the spare bedroom. It's her bed, she tunnels through it under the covers and spends most of her day in there.

My cat is that way with MY bed - she claims it as hers.northernmousefan2007 wrote:This is my cat Patches hanging out in the sun in the spare bedroom. It's her bed, she tunnels through it under the covers and spends most of her day in there.
