Hockeygirl - Not a problem... they're on me if we all get together someday. Enjoy the Olympics. I can't imagine how rockin' that place gets during hockey games... The Canadian fans broke out into their national anthem DURING a curling match against GB. Amazing...

USA...USA...USA...USA...

The guys are playing great 'team" hockey and I hope they can keep it going.

As for Canada, I would bench Brodeur also. He is great don't get me wrong...BUT..I think I too would give Luongo the nod. Luongo will rise to the occasion and will be tough to beat. He is arguably the best goalie in the NHL right now.

Have a great trip hockeygirl!!!!!

I've been glued to the TV every night watching the olympics...happens every time.

Switching to figure skating for a moment, I can't believe Evgeni Plushenko still can't get over the fact he won the silver medal!

That is what I have been thinking and leaning towards. It is a possibility. Also, don't forget the pressure that is on that team. Canada has pretty much said that the games are a flop for them if they don't get the gold. The players are in a huge spotlight and have big shoes to fill. It could cause them to not make the podium at all.

I think the key word there is arguably... I can think of at least 5 goalies that are better than Luongo right now. Wasn't he the backup on NY then FL??

Len - That's true. When they were playing the US, I felt that all of the pressure was on Canada. Oh well... hope that helps us out.

Ranger Fan! He's not my favorite. I do think Brodeur is a better goalie.

Well, it looks like this has come down to the game everybody dreamt about. USA/Canada Gold Medal Game. It should be an amazing game and I am really excited to see how this goes.
