USA...USA...USA...USA...
The guys are playing great 'team" hockey and I hope they can keep it going.
As for Canada, I would bench Brodeur also. He is great don't get me wrong...BUT..I think I too would give Luongo the nod. Luongo will rise to the occasion and will be tough to beat. He is arguably the best goalie in the NHL right now.

That is what I have been thinking and leaning towards. It is a possibility. Also, don't forget the pressure that is on that team. Canada has pretty much said that the games are a flop for them if they don't get the gold. The players are in a huge spotlight and have big shoes to fill. It could cause them to not make the podium at all.NaCler wrote:Len - Maybe this year's Canadian team is like the US team from a couple of games back when we had all the All-Stars and showed our butts and didn't end up close to a medal... I hope not because there are some amazing players on that team.

I think the key word there is arguably... I can think of at least 5 goalies that are better than Luongo right now. Wasn't he the backup on NY then FL??JPG wrote:BUT..I think I too would give Luongo the nod. Luongo will rise to the occasion and will be tough to beat. Ranger Fan! He's not my favorite. I do think Brodeur is a better goalie.JPG wrote:No love for Luongo, huh??Jacca5660 wrote:JPG wrote:USA...USA...USA...USA...

Well, it looks like this has come down to the game everybody dreamt about. USA/Canada Gold Medal Game. It should be an amazing game and I am really excited to see how this goes.
