It's one of those songs with a catchy, almost upbeat, melody that belies really sad lyrics... Reminds me of Gilbert O'Sullivan's "Alone Again". I like both of those songs. :D

Wow, you weren't kidding. I never really listened to the lyrics to Alone Again.
No one's gloomy or complaining while the flatware's entertaining.

An odd tid bit, the Edmund Fitzgerald sank 39 years ago Nov. 10th. Exactly why and how is still unknown.
