Now Playing Widget?

So, I know there was some postings a while back about this, but now that Mac OS X Tiger is out, I thought I'd bring it back up. How about a Widget that tells what is now playing. I'd be willing to help as, apparently, they just use HTML, CSS and JavaScript coding to make them and I have a little background in this. I'm trying to read up on how to make one, but I would absolutely love to have this. Anyone with me?

Not sure what a widget is, but I would love a button to click on that takes you directly to Now Playing at the top along with Home/Listen/Playlist/Forums, etc.

Is that the same thing?

It's a little similar. In Mac 10.4, there are little applications called widgets that do small tasks. So, I'm hoping to make and find others to help make one that would display what is currently playing on the station. If you have Windows, widgets run under a program called Konfabulator.

I can make a page that the widget can hit and be parsed.

That page would help a bundle Subsonic! I was going to try to see if I could use the ..../now_playing.php, but I didn't know if that would work. I'm not super great at JavaScript and just an amateur at HTML.

Share that page with me as well. When Microsoft finally gets around to releasing Longhorn (who knows when that will be) I can use it for a sidebar.

That would be perfect! I could write a little system tray app with that as well.
