I know it may take time to get this since it just came out yesterday, but I would love to hear the audio track again. If someone can upload it here sometime that would be great.

I wish it were easier to get newer attractions in high quality. It usually takes a while.
Have you been on it? Is it cool? I hope to go on it soon.

I have been on it and it was awesome. There are cool projections of this skull and then the skull turns into a beast and its hand is projected on the wall like it is going to grab you during the ride.

I hope that someone does find a good quality of the soundtrack since I'm impatient enough to want to listen before I go on the ride soon.

That seems cool. I would go on it! I always hear of holiday versions of attractions at Disneyland. Are there any special ones for Disney World? Like the Haunted Mansion or something? I know they decorate the parks but that's all I have seen. Are the special rides only for a certain amount of time or just for Disneyland?

You know, I'll bet disneyland gets more attention for overlays because 80% of the visitors are APers and they need change more often. Overlays are a wonderful idea.

Ghost galaxy was an attraction overlay that was imported from Hong Kong and features a slight tweak to the loading area lights (most are replaced with green), the monitor, and projections within the ride. They used the same composer (I think) as they used with the present version of space mountain, so it's all good.

It's only an overlay at DLR presently. No word if and when it will be done at WDW MK.

Hmmmm, I wonder why they stopped doing it at HK DL? (just looked and apparently 2010 was not a year for it) I still laugh at the original promos they would use for the ride (this was early on), they would just use the HK poster so the car would be the wrong style and also filled with only one race.
I'm going to say they probably won't do it at WDW at all because it relies so heavily on perfectly timed onboard audio for the thrill that the system they have now won't cut it.

Too true, WDW MK's last renovation of Space Mountain was more cosmetic than anything else - and to add those games for "interactivity" to the queue.

You take those air quotes down, and you keep them down!
Hmmm... thinking about the article on how they add things to make your peception of the wait time feel shorter. I wonder if people mentally ranting about the interactive things lose focus of waiting in line and also reap the benefit of not feeling like the line is nearly as long as before? The whole point is to distract you from being in a human feed chute.
