pardon of this has already been brought up

is there any way we can get a Disneyland(CA) only audio stream? I love ALL disney music but since I live in CA I am partial to DL. Thanks

Your best chance is to listen in to the scheduled streams with the specific lands or the DCA music.

I like your idea pinballpauly! Even though it probably won't happen.

UPDATE:
I did add a Disneyland playlist to the scheduled stream. It runs on Tuesdays

I could add it to the schedule, for the scheduled stream.
Other wise we would need someone to donate bandwidth, and we would have to work out some other kinks, but its not impossible.

As a WDWer I feel the opposite

I just listen to the Scheduled Streams if I really want to hear a certain park's music. Background is sort of park neutral...though I suppose there is a lot of EPCOT there.

That's a good idea but like everyone else said, it may not happen. I would just listen to the scheduled stream and look on the list for when Disneyland tracks will play.

I don't know how these ideas would work. Wouldn't it be really impractical to have streams for all the different locations?

With our current set up I guess its possible to run more streams from the server. The issue is the available relays. Right now we don't have the capacity on our current relays and would need addition ones.

Next people will ask for an "EPCOT only" stream, or "WDW only" stream - where will it end?

Don't give them any ideas. We will most likely crash the servers if that ever happens.

Yea! I think this the point I was making. Like has been said here, it's just not practical to have a different stream for all of the different venues. I'm surprise we have a Star Tunnel stream. It seems that, that bandwidth could be used for something broader with more universal appeal.

I likewise think a stream dedicted solely to Soarin' is overkill. Hey, subsonic and rich, what about this idea? Given there's two channels for Star Tunnel and Soarin' - maybe we should have everyone to vote if they should stay or if they should be replaced with a Disneyland-only stream, EPCOT-only stream, WDW-only stream, Parade & Show-only stream? We could a poll or do it similar to like the survival game thread (each option would start at zero, and everyone votes by adding 1 to two of the option listed; whichever two has the highest totals at the end would be the winners).

I think that would be a difficult thing to do. The Star Tunnel, Soarin', and Holiday stream are not controlled by rdeacon or sub. They are hosted by I believe jcodirewolf.

Oops - thanks for the clarification, Len90. Was just throwing a suggestion out there.

Len is right. Those streams are run independently. Jcodirewolf is running those streams. I don't know if we even have a need for different streams, as we run the scheduled stream and it doesn't draw a ton of listeners. Its something we can keep in the back burner and see what happens in the future.
