Tower of Terror Area Music Loop

Post by jenhen27 » Sep Fri 26, 2008 10:44 am

I've really enjoyed the last hour of TOT Area music. I feel like I'm in the 30's. I didn't understand what a loop was until now. So this is the background music for that ride or area of the park. I get it. How do you even get something like this? Do you leave a recorder next to one of the speakers? There's no talking from crowds so I'm at a loss here. Well however you did it. It's pretty cool. Thanks.

Well a lot of that music is available to purchase online or is on a cd in one way or another. So once you know the artist and name of the song you can compile the tracks together to make the same loop.

Disney just pays for licensing rights of those songs to use in the parks. So they are generally available to the public already. Just gotta look hard enough.

Oh, I get it. So you just have to sit around and listen to what's played and in what order and then you could create it yourself if it's songs that are generally available to the public.

Pretty much, that is how a lot of the loops we hear now are made. Others are music that Disney sells on their CD's that you find in the parks.

Like what billville said, majority of the loops come from whatever CDs that are available in the park. I wish I learned of this sooner so I could have start purchasing the CDs but now all the kiosks are gone. At least there's half.com and eBay around if they are there. But this is a great loop. I requested it once and never regretted it.
