Feeds for the front page

Hey, just a thought..

how about an RSS or Atom feed for the news on the front page? This'd come in handy (for me at least, anyway :))

Just out of curiosity, but how would it be useful to you?

I know very little about RSS feeds. Because the news is integrated into phpbb I don't know how easy that would be.

Because when I'm using the laptop, I've got a sidebar in Firefox that tells me when a feed has been updated, and will display the feed if I ask it to (the extension is called Sage, for the interested).

I'd quite like to have a feed on there so I know when Subsonic has been posting stuff :)

If you've parsed it for the front page, it shouldn't be too difficult. All you need is to get the title, link and text into an XML file, which you can get many many examples off on teh interweb to play with :)

Cheers,

Andy.
