Subsonic Intro
This really isn't about any tracks or songs. I wrote this in another forum, and one member said that I should post it here so you would know.
Although that little main street opening for the radio channels is cool and well done, it can get very annoying when I am "channel surfing!" If I am switching between channels, I have to hear the opening every time I click on another channel. The Soarin' and Star Tunnel tracks don't do that fortunately. Is there a way to turn it off, or can it at least be shortened?

I think the opening is great and defines Subsonic Radio. It'd be a shame to eliminate it - and it's maybe 10 or 15 seconds?

Re: Subsonic Intro
Surf the channels and face the consequences.
I surf a fair bit and hardly notice the intro now.
If main Street Electrical Parade comes on I never notice the intro to that either

I really don't see a need to channel surf too much. I enjoy the intro since it really defines subsonic.

I can understand how it can be annoying when you want to wait, especially just to find out what's playing on another stream. I guess we're a little limited in the information we give about the other streams. In the chat you can type !bgm to see what's playing on the background stream. I guess that doesn't help much here. But that's what I use.figment34786 wrote:If I am switching between channels, I have to hear the opening every time I click on another channel. Perhaps if we put a little more effort to show what's playing on each stream that might help?

That would be great. No need to switch channels if you have a program guide.subsonic wrote:Perhaps if we put a little more effort to show what's playing on each stream that might help?

Fantastic, now someone give me a few extra hours in my day to allow me to do this.
