Typhoon Lagoon soundtrack listing

Post by DIAC1987 » Feb Mon 04, 2008 7:27 pm

I am a huge fan of the music in Typhoon Lagoon, it really sets the atmosphere and the setting of the water park. I am mostly fond of the great blend of surf rock and 60s/70s music. Does anyone, ANYONE have the soundtrack listing of the music that plays while walking the park? It would be awesome to finally know the names of the songs that help make Typhoon Lagoon an enjoyable experience.

Out of the songs I have been able to nab so far were the surf rock tunes in Pulp Fiction (Comanche, Surf Rider, Bustin' Surfboards) and Beach Boys. However, there's wayyy more music in that park that I have yet to find.

Anybody have the soundtrack listing? It would be greatly, greatly appreciated.

Last time I was there, I was pleased to hear "Surfin' Bird" by The Trashmen.

The song freakin' rocks.

Typhoon Music

Post by Monorail Coral » Feb Fri 08, 2008 12:47 am

Funny - I was walking in Target this afternoon and hear a song playing off of one of those CD sampler machines and I recognized the song from Typhoon Lagoon and am now on the same mission! The song was "Walk Don't Run" (ironic for a water park) by the Ventures.

I also know Jimmy Buffet - Margaritaville; Beach Boys - Disney Girls, and The Surfaris - Wipeout.

Thanks! :D

I would love to hear these. But not sure if sub would allow these on site. I figure they are played there so they might as well be on the site. For example Mama's and Papa's - California dreamin.

^^^
That one is of Blizzard Beach, I had found that listing before. I'm looking for more of the surf rock that's in Typhoon Lagoon, even if both water parks do share some of the songs.

Sorry - just realised my mistake. I think it was because of all the previous talk in the threads about BB. Anway, good luck with your search.
