Magic Kingdom Christmas music

Post by Nicc513 » Jan Mon 07, 2008 2:23 pm

I know it's a little late for a Christmas music request, but maybe if we start looking and uploading now we can have a whole channel by next Christmas...

My grandparents would take me to WDW for two weeks at Christmas time EVERY year. (Seriously, I started in the womb and went every Christmas until I graduated college. Unfortunately life has gotten in the way and I haven't been back since.)

Anyway, I stumbled upon this station via Google this past Christmas while jonesing for a Main Street "Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer" fix. You know the one: it was instrumental but had those crazy "na na na na na"s. Does anybody out there have that???

Subsonic - Love the station, btw. My mom is now a registered user too!! :D

it's highly doubtful that we'll do a whole channel or stream of just Christmas tracks. most of the loops are too similar to each other, no matter what park it is. there's just not alot of variety in the classic Christmas tracks they play.

But, of course, if anyone has the tracks, feel free to upload them and we'll see what we can do.

Of course this could be said of the Halloween stuff too, but we did devote the scheduled stream to Halloween on Halloween. I think if we really had enough tracks, 6+ hours worth, most users wouldn't mind an entire day of Christmas tracks. I do agree that, right now, we don't have enough to devote an entire Channel to it, BUT if we get more submissions we could in future.

O and if someone else, another user, wants to donate server space like when we had the Soarin' Channel but for Christmas we would accept that I think.

If we obtain Christmas music, how exactly do we submit it?

...Nevermind I see the first items in the forum have the instructions.

Yeah, I love that Rudolph tune too. I noticed that the WDW version is not on the playlist, but the Diseyland Paris version seems similar (although maybe not the exact same).

I'll have to cue that one up sometime soon and have a listen.

Na na na na na to you, cap396!
