Does Anyone Hate the Star Tunnel Music?

I had to get up early this morning. And I got a rare chance to listen to one of the two star tunnel tracks. (If there are more I haven't noticed....let me know, I love this one) I heard it at 5:30 am and realized I was one of 5 listeners at the time and guessed some of the listeners do what I do and listen to it as they go to bed.
I'm just curious if we could make some of these tracks available multiple times so they could stagger across the day rather than having it at 5 am and people missing it for another 3 days.
Or if we could just making it unavailable for less time.
Post what you think

I think the system is fine as it is. It's set up to avoid repeating tracks all the time. While I do enjoy the Star Tunnel track, I don't want to hear it every few hours.

There
are ways to bypass the system.

I'm fine with the way the system is. Everytime I try to check if certain songs are available and if they are not, I look foward to listening to them during the next time.
For example I can never find Wonders of Life music loop available but one day I know I will

Hey, I agree, listening to the same music all day, everyday...it can really drive you nuts. But I just thought that some of the more popular songs could get a little more flexibility. If you wanted to, there enough versions of the boo to you halloween parade to block off a few hours, and only about 4 minutes of the star tunnel....So I can hear something halloween everytime I tune in, but its easier to go to space mountain than find a time when the star tunnel track is available

It's playing right now, ironically enough.

I haven't planned on it really, but I've been starting out the live DJ chats with Star Tunnel. Perhaps it's becoming tradition now

The star tunnle music is awsome the transition from the enterance of space mountain to the tunnels is great there are actually three compostions that I know of. They all interlock musically with oneanother for a seamless effect. brilliant!

How does that work? I mean to say, how can you bypass the system by chatting?

Its not that you can do anything in chat.
Its just we, the admins, are in chat and sometimes ask for requests.
Stop by chat and you might have a request come true.
Its like year of a million tracks... kinda.. sorta

At first i was upset that what i wanted to listen too wasn't available until a couple of days past, but i must agree, that it is a nice system to avoid repeats. i have learned to browse for other selections because of it. didn't realise how much of a creatur of habit i am.

This is a tough one, because I don't want new visitors to be detoured from the site because they can't make their requests, but us regular visitors don't want to hear the same thing over and over again.
I plan on making a schedule for the top 50 requests of the week to be played on the scheduled stream. But it's a learning experience for me and is taking a while.

Yeah, I wouldn't mind repeats so much, as long as they were interesting. I get tired of listening to complete rides if they repeat more than once a day, but as long as the repeats aren't taking up 20 minutes or more, I wouldn't mind.
