Water Park Tracks?

I think there would be an audience for some of the Typhoon Lagoon/Blizzard Beach audio. I can think of a few as I float along in the lazy river. I know the argument has been posted that some of the songs are contemporary, but I know of a few which I have only heard in the parks.

Thanks!

The only problem here is that there isn't a lot of people going to a water park and who brings any kind of recording devices. But I would have to agree with you, it would be really nice to have something like a 15-minute loop or the lazy rive or something like that.

We're partial to original Disney created tracks here. And the background music they use at the water parks doesn't really fit that.

I'll look for those "original" ones, if any, and put them in.

I don't think these are Particulary disney created...

California Adventure - paradise pier area music - hang on sloopy
California Adventure - paradise pier area music - i left my heart in san francisco
California Adventure - paradise pier area music - monday monday
California Adventure - paradise pier area music - san francisco
California Adventure - paradise pier area music - so happy together
California Adventure - paradise pier area music - surfin' usa

The track Im thinking of at Typhoon Lagoon was "Leave her Johnny, Leave her". An old sea shanty. Things of that ilk. I do understand that we don't necessarly need the Beach Boys.

Thanks for looking Subsonic

See I like tracks 1 and 5 in that set but I do agree on Red Red Wine. I wish there was some of the ambient music around.

Yes, I think there are one or two that aren't like the ones I used as examples. I will look for them and put them in.

While I absolutely love Typhoon Lagoon, before a "Beers Around the World" Tour.....I must agree with Sub.....the tracks are Jimmy Buffet, and the like....Although I suppose R&RC with Aerosmith wouldn't qualify as "Disney" music......all this just makes me want to have a "pop" at Typhoon Lagoon

I wish I could have a drink in my hand whilst in the tube, bobbing along.

As far as the music, Id like just enough to trigger the memories. Im sure there are some that are uncommon enough so they would be associated with the water parks and not with the original performance.

For Example "Big Rock Candy Moutain" is ancient, but no matter what version I hear, It reminds me of Big Thunder Mountain. Or how the wilderness lodge music is "Disney" even though it is performed by many artists prior to the hotel...

Sure they are. That kooky UFO show that used to be Art Bell uses them. The point is not the originality (i.e. Hooray for Hollywood tied in with the GMR) but weither or not they transport you to the parks...
