I was wandering if you can get the Carousel of Progress full show which Walt Disney World uses now? Thanks, Mike.

Yeah... if they ever released that version, it's definitley my favorite. I like the introduction and the finale version of Great Big Beautiful Tomorrow.

Is there anything different between the current WDW one and the original DL besides the final "21st century" scene?

I think they changed the Great Big Beautiful Tomorrow song to a more of a Jazzy style.

But what about "Now is the time, Now is the best time? Wasn't that the best incantation of the ride?

When I was growing up the only song I heard there was Now is the time, But I like the classic Beautiful tomorrow song better when they went back to it.

Ugh. Absolutely not. The ride was about the promise of the future (and yes, the history of technology)... but "Now is the time?" How does that focus on the future? Besides, "Great Big Beautiful Tomorrow" is just a better song :)

Yeah, a lot of the dialogue in the WDW is different and they have an introduction breifly explaining the history of the carousel. I think I uploaded a live recording... There's also a really nice version of GBBT sung after the Christmas scene. I wish I knew who sung it...

When I went on the WDW Carousel it was my first time to experience Walt's classic attraction. When I heard the old version I was surprised to hear the differences. They changed alot of it to target toward a new generation of viewers. Is it still popular?

LOL, it's really about progress. And being happy in whatever time you live in because of technological advances, despite their shortcomings. In that way, I really don't mind "Now Is The Time".
