Disney's Magical Express loop - HELP!

Post by zhoover » Jun Fri 19, 2015 3:16 pm

Hey Gang: Looking for a bit of help. There's a file that can be found on a lot of Disney audio sites that is normally labeled "Disney's Magical Express Loop" or something similar. In the loop, there are versions of "Someday My Prince Will Come," "A Dream is a Wish Your Heart Makes," and the prologue for Cinderella that are similar enough that they could all be from the same source or album. I've isolated them into three separate MP3s:

Does anyone know where they came from? Were they created specifically for this loop? Is it possible they're from an album of similar Disney arrangements?

Any help would be appreciated!!!

Offhand I don't know, but I'm doing some searching online and found a nice big band arrangement of Someday My Prince Will Come ~ https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UbrlYGmoIAc
Could they possibly be from the Wedding Chapel? Those orchestral arrangements sound like they could be used there. I'll have a poke around some more here later and see what else I can find :D

Found this one ~ similar but not exactly the same ~ https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ftSobW2RXQk
There seems to be a whole list of these Philharmonic Disney selections ~ https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sa_mhT_ ... E2edFsQ6lY

Listened to the Disney Fairy Tale Wedding versions and it definitely isn't those.

Do you have this CD ~ Classically Disney ~ http://www.amazon.com/Classically-Disne ... B008ML36SW
I haven't had any luck finding any samples of those songs. But I've found a whole 'nother batch of Disney tunes I want to listen to in the process ;) Good luck on your quest. I'll continue to keep an ear out for those exact songs though :D

You're welcome, sorry I haven't found the exact tracks yet. Glad you liked one of the ones I found! There is some amazing music out there ~ just not enough time to listen to it all

Are you familiar with either the Louie Armstrong album of Disney songs or Dimie Cat's record, "Once Upon A dream?" Both are great and have been getting a lot of play during my 17 month-old's bathtime lately!

The Louis Armstrong one yes, but not the other. I'll have to check that out ~ thanks!
