how many monorail noses were peeking out of shop that morning? not many i would assume since they are on the beams about an hour and a half before rope drop...

I don't know that I was on the right side of the shop to see. Unless there are little doors that close around the beam like a garage door, that is all I can see in my photos. I will have to get a few photos uploaded to share them with you and then you can maybe see what you think...

this is the correct side, and yes there are garage doors that come down to protect the machines--- uhhh, i mean people who work there.

That is weird how they used the same design, and I think even color, for the WDW house for the locomotives and monorails (just a wider version). Probably is also the most effective way to store them since any workshop would need to be raised (or have the land graded) up to the beam level. You can actually see the monorails in the barn, from the freeway at DLR. I can see them when driving home from work if I swing by DLR on the way out.
