how many monorail noses were peeking out of shop that morning? not many i would assume since they are on the beams about an hour and a half before rope drop...Amy wrote:Another photo I can look for on my computer in the morning. Should have a photo of the monorail barn above the railroad roundhouse!dstrawn9889 wrote:the paint beam is the furthest beam to the west. admittedly i have never been to shop, and there exists few ground-level pictures (that i can find anyway)

Re: WDW Trivia
I don't know that I was on the right side of the shop to see. Unless there are little doors that close around the beam like a garage door, that is all I can see in my photos. I will have to get a few photos uploaded to share them with you and then you can maybe see what you think...dstrawn9889 wrote:how many monorail noses were peeking out of shop that morning? not many i would assume since they are on the beams about an hour and a half before rope drop...Amy wrote:Another photo I can look for on my computer in the morning. Re: WDW Trivia
That is weird how they used the same design, and I think even color, for the WDW house for the locomotives and monorails (just a wider version). Probably is also the most effective way to store them since any workshop would need to be raised (or have the land graded) up to the beam level. You can actually see the monorails in the barn, from the freeway at DLR. I can see them when driving home from work if I swing by DLR on the way out.
