You bet! I was almost certain the narrator for Winnie the Pooh says it rained and it rained.
Seems like the scoring for challenge 5 was tough but fair. Overall it was a fun little contest and helped to pass a few weeks of time between announcing the vacation and going. I think we should try this again with either the boilers or the mouskecouple.

If you can produce the audio, be glad to revise. I can't find any good audio of it to clearly hear...Len90 wrote:I was almost certain the narrator for Winnie the Pooh says it rained and it rained.
Do you mean husband vs. wife - or couple vs. couple?Len90 wrote:Seems like the scoring for challenge 5 was tough but fair. I checked my audio from this past December. You can hear it starting to thunder after the Heffalumps and Woozles scene, and then they sing "The rain, rain, rain came down, down, down and the flood rose up up upper." The narrator says toward the very end, "At last the rain went away and everyone gathered to say...hooray!" I didn't hear him saying it rained and rained. Sorry Len, I was going to bat for you. I do love that quote though...deluge is just a fun word to sayLen90 wrote:I was almost certain the narrator for Winnie the Pooh says it rained and it rained.

Wow, your audio sounds better than what I could find on YouTube, Amy! I do love that old film from Living Seas too, especially when she says so smoothly and coolly, "The deluge."

I'm going to have to look back in my cassette tapes and see if I taped that part of the Living Seas. I hope somindflipper wrote:Wow, your audio sounds better than what I could find on YouTube, Amy! Actually, the audio here on Subsonic of the Living Seas film is quite good...Amy wrote:I'm going to have to look back in my cassette tapes and see if I taped that part of the Living Seas. I was originally thinking husband vs wife, but I'm actually liking the idea of couple vs couple a lot better now!mindflipper wrote:Do you mean husband vs. wife - or couple vs. couple?Len90 wrote:Seems like the scoring for challenge 5 was tough but fair. Amy, thanks for the clarification on that quote!

Okay, if all of the aforementioned parties are amenable to your proposal, then the question turns as to where the arena for such a competition should be held: should it take place here on Subsonic, or should it be done in January 2012 as part of the Mayhem Marauder Meet-up?Len90 wrote:I was originally thinking husband vs wife, but I'm actually liking the idea of couple vs couple a lot better now!mindflipper wrote:Do you mean husband vs. wife - or couple vs. couple?Len90 wrote:I think we should try this again with either the boilers or the mouskecouple.

Well, this was Len90's brainchild, but I don't think he would "physical challenges".

Ok, well I'm up for the challenge, although I think the Mouse Couple might have us a beat!
