Epcot trivia game

Post by figmentaholic » Jun Wed 01, 2011 3:16 pm

I was in the Disney trivia room in the chat room here on Subsonic and I was thinking that it might be nice to have an Epcot trivia game.

The rules will be the same as the "Where in the World" game. I will put up the first quiz question, whoever gets the answer right, they put up the next question, whoever answers that right asks the next question, and so on.

I would encourage people not to Google or otherwise look up answers, as we want people to have time to try to think of the answer. Also try not to win too often, give others a chance to try.

Okay, so I hope this takes off.

I will make the first question a pretty easy one. It's a two-parter.

How many countries are in the World Showcase, and list them from left to right as you walk towards the World Showcase from Future World.

Good luck, and have fun!

mexico, norway, china, germany, italy, the american adventure, japan, morocco, France, UK, Canada....that makes 11!!! if you're really picky and want to include the outpost that makes 12....but i don't really count that...also, Norway and Morocco were the only countries to be added after the park opened.

Before AK opened, the actual center of WDW was located in EPCOT....where is that spot?

How about Spaceship Earth? Seems pretty central to me.

Isnt there a little spot between Spaceship earth and the fountains, a little bronze spot in that plaza?

I know this one!!! It's in the ground somewhere between Innoventions and the Land. I recall seeing this because I stopped to tie my shoe there.

Len you are correct!! I thought I had a pic of it, but can't find it right now. I learned that on my Undiscovered Futereworld Tour!

Haha I learned this due to an open shoelace!

Here is one that I have read about and am truly fascinated by it. The icon to EPCOT is the large sphere for Spaceship Earth. This sphere not only serves the purpose of hosting an attraction and offering shade/protection to park guests. What other purpose does it serve.
