This is something everyone looks at but never really sees.
You're right about never really seeing it. Just this weekend I looked at a picture similar to this that I took, and STILL didn't see it in the collection of signs. I think I thought the sign was bigger than it really was, so I was looking for something about the size of the Maraharaja Jungle Trek sign underneath it.

For some reason it looks like a projected image, like it's not real but rather on a screen somewhere. So with that I'm going to guess Mickey's PhilHarmagic

Is it the water reflection of Davey Jones at the entrance to POTC?

Sorry, I mean the beginning of the ride before the water fall, not at the entrance to the pavillion.

It looks so familiar and I keep wanting to say it looks like cartoonish environment like a giant blue speckled mushroom or something (though my first thought was a dinosaur or Stitch's face/eye but I knew the dino was wrong color). I just don't know where.

Not Davey Jones, good guess though! Def. cartoonish!!! If no one guesses soon, I will give a hint! Although I think my hint will be a giveaway!

Well I'll guess Stitch's Great Escape because I still can't get beyond it looking like Stitch's face.
