Cinderella Castle is kinda in the attraction. It just isn't the main setting.

Stitch's Great Mistake... er.. Escape. Stitch teleports himself to Earth and ends up on Cinderella Castle. Knocks on a door in one of the spires and that is what he says.

I hate that attraction with a passion. It is set before the first movie yet his name is Stitch already, he knows an Earth language, knows what a chili dog is and someone was able to sneak said chili dog into the attraction (are chili dogs even sold at MK?). Not to mention that many more kids were scared from this than Alien Encounter. /soapbox

Anyway, someone else can go.

I hope there is room for me on that soapbox. I do agree with you that the show was a mistake. The five minute standby queue wait time for such a popular character should be a clue to that.

As you said, it's set before the first movie, and I think that is lost on a lot of people who see Stitch after he has learned some values and the meaning of family and such. Basically he's a troublemaker and I don't think that's how people and kids expect to see him.

I'm sure it's a tough situation because with SGE being a failure and Monsters, Inc. Laugh Floor not really bringing them in, that "alley" that leads in from the hub doesn't provide much and seems to be a "black hole of entertainment". And would be an even larger hole if both attractions had to be redone at once.

OK, I bequeath the soapbox to another person, so long as it is moved to another category. In the meantime, if somebody out there has a quote to start up the game again, go for it.
