Then everyone who played today could have just sat there waiting for You? for a whole day we all can't play because You don't have time too? Besides more than ample time is provided, and we are all pretty patient.

I don't make the rules, I was just offering my opinion...that's all.
I know this is probably your first flight...and it's mine too...ha, ha

Croaker wrote:My suggestion is 24hrs. if the poster of the picture doesn't reply in a 24 hr period then the next post following the 24 hour period can claim the right to post a new pic. i know i'm not guessing on the following pic because i'm going to be in Rapid City over the weekend and away from computers.
Since Croaker started the game, I think if he figures it's a good idea, we should go with it. :)

Maybe if people guessing are pretty certain they won't be able to post within 24 hours (going away for the weekend, etc.), they can mention that in their guess. Like "Feel free to pass me if I'm right" or something. Then we know whether or not they'd like us to wait.

I feel bad for people getting skipped just because they don't have the luxury of hanging around here all day, or happen to have picture with them if they're guessing from work, etc.

Sorry I didn't mean to come at You like just You. Image I ment it in just the general sense. I don't see how that rule is reasonable to all that want to play. It would leave us hanging for days inbetween.
Croaker only suggested it, and no one jump for it. and that passing rule, people already do that when they think they don't have time but still wanna play.
just like to play, Got a guess?

Figment, the thing to remember is that this is a message board, not a chat room. Message boards inherently take patience. Also, you don't know if someone is making the choice to pass or post (a pic) until they say so. That's the reason for the 24 hour rule. If they don't post a reply within 24 hours after they are declared the winner, they forfeit their turn. This helps make up some of the time zone differences we experience on message boards as well.

As for the pic you posted. I can't think of anything except somewhere in Animal Kingdom.

As someone who enjoys this game, but can only really play on weekends,I think 24 hours is way to long. If a person posts a pic 7:00 am on Saturday. It is guessed right at 7:05am and the pic poster doesn't come back until Sunday 7:00 to tell the guesser they are right, there goes one day. Then the person who guessed it right doesn't come back to post a new pic until 7:05 monday then all I got is ONE guess all weekend. 24 hours is way to long. 6-8 hours is enough time if your playing.

As for this pic, Is it in camp Micky Minny in Animal kingdom? This is an interesting pic.

Wow...I think everyone is taking this game way too seriously. This is just my opinion, but I think that 24 hrs is perfect. Some people do play from work and can't post a pic immediately. Most of the time, people are really nice and pass if they can't post right away. And if you spend all day staring at this forum complaining that people aren't posting a pic quick enough, you need a life. We don't need a pic asap...this is not a life changing event we're taking part of..its a GAME. Relax.

I agree with Sleeping Beauty - it's not THAT big of a deal. I think that Croaker should post the official rule, since he started the thread and because we'll never come to a general consensus, and then we'll be done with it.

Ok here's two pics:

The first one is my actual submission....

The second one is a bonus because my wife thought it was too hard. ;) It's not required to win this round. It's just for fun. :)
