I didn't think AK was open at night? Does it close before sundown?

I was thinking somewhere at Dixie Landings maybe?

Animal Kingdom stays open for extra magic hours, like the other parks do. The area's with the animals are closed (except the entrance of course) to give them the rest they deserve, but everything else is open. There are hardly any crowds, and the atmosphere is amazing. I've taken a bunch of night photos from Animal Kingdom and probably everywhere else in the world. Can't beat Disney at night...maybe I'll start a pictoral thread called "Walt Disney World in the Dark"
