It's the Lawnmower Tree. That piece of metal is actually a part of a lawnmower.

Yup! It's the Lawnmower Tree at the Fort Wilderness Campgrounds. Very cool. Definitely worth going to see if you're in the area.

Here's another picture (stolen shamelessly from someone's flickr that has a better shot than I do) for more of a reference.

I think that one goes to agingerbugg (with an assist from JWG and kcarts?

). I dunno who's next in that case, but I eagerly await the next picture.
