Well, we live in Scottsdale, so Phoenix, very central to the state. Drove down to Tucson to Sonoran Desert Preserve and a visit to the always-interesting Biosphere 2. A day at home, then went the other direction up to Sedona and rented a house for a few days up in that area. Drove one day to the Grand Canyon. Lots of scenery changes that are always surprising for people who think AZ is nothing but cactus. For instance, did you know that the largest stand of Ponderosa Pines IN THE WORLD is in Arizona? True fact.
