Yes, 34 hours without power, and quite appreciative to have it back on. Especially since it had been off for 8 hours a few days prior to that! Yeah, I would be a bit nervous around that many people having been so isolated for a couple years now!

Thanks, it's a trade off for sure ~ thinking it's better to be able to get creek water to flush the toilets without risking frostbite though I suppose 
Though I do prefer snuggling in ALL the blankets better than roasting in the heat and humidity with no a/c or fan!
