Christmas Eve has meant an annual birthday shopping trip with my friends' daughter since she was 13. Obviously it wasn't quite the same this year with the pandemic but we still had a fun time! The main difference were the crowd levels. When we first started doing this in 2008, Christmas Eve at the mall was a ghost town. This year, even with the pandemic, all the stores were jam packed!
