I know we stopped in to the Main Street Ice Cream parlor late one day and they did have hand scooped ice cream. I felt bad for the lady, and the CM, in front of me because she had requested one flavor be on top and the other on the bottom and they did it the opposite way and she had an absolute meltdown. Not sure if she had some sort of problem or was just having a rough day but it was a bit ugly. Funny what things we remember isn't it?
Either of you ever have the Kitchen Sink Sundae? I like the idea, but I don't really like things mixed together so I wouldn't want all that stuff in my ice cream!

I haven't tried either the smaller Mickey shorts version of the Kitchen Sink or the huge thing at Beaches and Cream. I was poking around the Beaches and Cream menu and discovered they have a chocolate version and some other version too. They sounded better than the mishmash of every ice cream flavour in the regular one. But it uses a whole can of whipped cream! I don't like whipped cream quite that much. It also looks like an icky soup as it melts, so I think you'd need a lot of people to eat it fast enough to still be tasty. I expect the smaller Mickey shorts one would probably be better. What flavours are in that one?

This is what I found ~ As per a traditional ice cream sundae, this dessert comes with two scoops of any flavor of ice cream available, whipped cream, two cherries and a choice of hot fudge, caramel or peanut butter topping. Though I thought at one point it was a scoop of vanilla, chocolate, and strawberry. I don't know, but I would rather try the little one because you would then have the cute little sink to take home And I'll help with the whipped cream!

I've dined in B&C quite a bit as the Beach Club is the resort I choose the most. While my wife and I have never tried the kitchen sink I do like the fanfare that accompanies the delivery of an order. Revolving police-style lights come on and the servers all shout "A WHOLE CAN" when the ingredients are read aloud. It's a lot of fun to see. And ImagineeringWannabe, I am with you - I'd prefer a chocolate version.
