I think when we get closer to the end we should set some rules on how many times you can vote in a day....... maybe like 2-3 times per day at most. Because this thread might get a little ridiculous.

I agree with the good Doctor. This thread is awesome...but it's generating too many useless posts and those will certainly increase as it gets closer to the end.

Well I am not sure I would call posts "useless" as they are all about people voting, but some quota on voting would not be a bad thing.. the only thing I worry about is that will really make the voting slow down and it will drag the voting out for a long time. There are other parks that we can start on after this is done, so we wouldn't want it to last *TOO* long, I would think.

I've been limiting myself to 2-3 posts a day on this thread. Seems a reasonable amount, but it's definitely up to the admins. to make the call.

Meanwhile, I cannot kill Space but I'll stop trying to stop its demise (how passive aggressive of me). Unless, of course, anyone else is interested in a rally. Until then...

I didn't mean to say everyone's posts are "useless". I simply meant to say that it is possible to post 10-20 times in this thread in a given day. And since post count is directly tied to track requests, this thread can pad your request points without the user adding anything special. I understand voting on this is cool...and I love this thread...but like I said earlier...people can inflate their post count a lot by posting the same thing over and over and over again. JMHO

EDIT: Hmm.. I actually never even thought of inflating post counts. I already have enough points to request what I want in the stream so I honestly did not think of that.

That would be an issue, though I guess we should wait and see what the Dr. or Sub himself have to say about it.

While the BIG is right, it does pad the points, you can't have anything longer than a half an hour in the queue at any time anyway. I would abide with the 2-3 posts, if that is what is decided, but I do think it would drag things on quite a bit.

Maybe we could limit it to one post per hour on this thread. That would keep it around 8-10 posts per day...per person at max.
