Aw, you never got to when you were still allowed to? That is one of my fondest memories ~ it really was fun
It was a nice experience. I only was able to do it once and wish I had more. It's a shame you cant ride there anymore.
Can't wait to take my twin boys on their first trip to Walt Disney World! Planning on heading there sometime Feb-May 2014!

I would love to ride the zip line from the castle down main street like Tink does during the fireworks and also go to see the wonders of life pavilion and see what is still hiding away in there.

Ooo, I hadn't thought about the zip line ~ that would an amazing way to see the park!
As for sneaking into the Wonders of Life Pavilion ~ there are videos out there of people having done just that, here is a link to one from an intrepid young explorer here on Subsonic ;)

I'd love to be able to walk through Haunted Mansion and just take it all in slowly.
Or ride Splash Mountain over and over and over again, in the front seat, without having to get off or stop

See what lurks on Discovery Island. I've heard some really bizarre theories about it; most of it tinfoil hat brigade stuff, but still I bet it'd be fairly interesting even if it's just an overgrown, abandoned nature park.

You can still ride in the front of the monorail in Disneyland! My family and I did that about two years ago. It was crazy cool -- I highly recommend it! :-)

Yeah, I'm thinking it is probably just super overgrown. Would be neat to see it again though.

Really? Didn't realize that. We missed riding the monorail at all when we visited DL a few years ago :(
