Forbidden things you'd like to try anyhow!

Post by Amy » Mar Mon 23, 2015 1:32 pm

So, since we got in trouble in another thread for constantly being off topic  It was suggested we direct our attention to a thread that would be the topic!

What kinds of things would you love to do in the parks even though they are forbidden? Personally I would love to sneak into Cranium Command and see if Buzzy is still really there. And I would love to see behind the walls in the Soarin' Queue to see how much of the Kitchen Rocks things are still there!

Sleep in the castle! I know it's not technically completely forbidden, but since it's almost impossible to achieve, I think it counts.
Can't wait to take my twin boys on their first trip to Walt Disney World! Planning on heading there sometime Feb-May 2014!

I'd love to explore river country, take lots of flash pictures on dark rides, and go in every door that says "cast members only."
"Park's closed. Moose out front should have told ya."

Make a human "train" down the waterslides at the water parks. Not Humunga Kowabunga, mind you  , but the more tame ones. Or, if they use floats or mats, just go one after another after another after another, with the biggest person in the front and the smallest in the back.

Climb the pyramid at the Coronado Springs Resort pool at night to see the light in the top. I actually have seen several people do this (and run before the security guard came back).

I'd like to stand on top of SSE.

I'd also like to spend maybe an hour inside of the Mickey suit while walking down Main Street USA. I know it would be difficult, but to be able to see the looks on the faces of everyone looking back at Mickey (me) would be priceless and something I would never forget.

I'd love to perform in one of the shows/parades. I don't care which one - I'll learn the routine.

How about we time travel back to 1986 for the 15 Year Celebration parade. It's dripping with 80s and is hideously awesome.

Speaking of climbing pyramids, I'd like to climb the Mexico one at EPCOT. See if anything mentioned in the Kingdom Keepers books is actually there.

I'd love to go behind the scenes of Soarin' too. Not attempting to derail the thread (apologies since I probably helped in the previous one) but does anywhere know where and how many projectors there are? I've been looking for a diagram without much luck.

 Yes, I'd even do that one.

I know you ride Soarin' with one of the behind the scenes tours, but not sure if you are really seeing any behind the scenes action of the attraction itself before or after riding it.
Best I could tell from scrounging around online, there is only one projector per IMAX screen. Couldn't find anything specific to the attraction though to be certain.
