Hahah omg totally fell for that! I love it when the Simpsons make reference to Disney (Just reminded me of the Duff gardens song like it's a small world! Duff beer for me , Duff beer for you..... )

So I just accidentally stumbled upon video of the new Soarin' there in Shanghai Disneyland.

I didn't watch the beginning or the ending...but just maybe 45-60 seconds in the middle. I wanted to stop watching it...but I couldn't turn away.

I won't post any spoilers...so don't worry about that. I will say that the places I saw were absolutely amazing and the transitions between the places is seamless and very creative. Another thing...the music...sweet fancy Moses...the music. Let's just say there shouldn't be anyone who is displeased with the music. I say with 100% confidence that it is better...nay...much better than the original score. You will all see what I mean when you see it on your next trip to your favorite Disney park.

So...that's that. The video I watched was a kind of walk through of Shanghai DL and I will say their attractions are light years ahead of anything at WDW. The way they use projection is fantastic and I hope this kind of trend comes to WDW and DLR soon. Seeing the park and the attractions really makes me want to win the lottery so I can go to Shanghai DL.

I wouldn't have thought to look online for a video, but seeing this I just had to. It is going to be a very long time before I can get to Shanghai DL so I had no problem watching.

I agree with the music. I'd say it was a nice blend of the old and the new. It's not the same watching on the computer screen, so I'll have to wait until the full bass cannons of the IMAX theater hit me full force to fully appreciate it, but I think I'll like it

Yep...we're going to WDW this December with two little ones and we know it will be very difficult to do Soarin' since the youngest one will be too small. After watching the short clip I saw...I know that this is definitely going to be a "Child Swap" ride and DW agreed after I told her about it last night. Maybe they can go watch the Lion King thing there in the Land while I ride Soarin' and then DW can to ride it while I treat the kids to something from Sunshine Seasons.

That sounds like a good plan. As I recall the Circle of Life there in the Land has a super loud soundtrack ~ not sure how sensitive your children are to louder noises. But it is a nice little movie. And you can't go wrong with a snack from the Sunshine Seasons ~ so much yummy food there
