On an previous day, I tried Tigger...he was fun to draw because the ears, eyebrows, stripes were different from others I have been able to draw. The ears especially...
His face was a little elongated compared to the animators'!

Neat ~ I agree that it is more fun to draw characters you are familiar with. I think we drew Rapunzel once before I had seen the movie and I wasn't at all into it, but I would be now after having watched the movie

I have a book or two at home that teaches you how to draw the Mickey & Friends characters. It taught me the correct way to draw Mickey...and DS loves when I draw it for him.

There's some awesome drawings on here!
I've been going to post the one from my trip last February for ages, but hadn't taken any photos. In cleaning up my room and finding the pictures under a box where I'd placed them to flatten I figured it was long overdue.
We had Donald and the next day I took my drawing to the Magic Kingdom hoping to get Donald to sign it. He did, and because I was wearing a Mickey shirt he added that *he* was really #1
The second signature is how my Dad had signed his drawing. He got the Donald style signature pretty close!

That looks great ImagineerWannabe! I always thought Donald was pretty tough to draw. What a neat idea to take it to the park to have Donald sign it too ~ never thought of doing that before! I have to agree, your Dad did a good job on the signature. How did his Donald look?

Dad's Donald was pretty good too. A bit smaller bill and hat. It's amazing how well we can draw when following the instructions of an expert

It really is pretty neat how just following the steps can turn out a pretty good looking character. I've seen some train wrecks too
but most of the drawings look pretty awesome!
