I don't take many pics of food, but I did at this meal at Ohanas...
I am vegetarian, and the chef came out and talked to me about what I like, etc. Then got my own meal, separate from the skewers of meat. He came out a few times to see how I was doing. Wow!
3 pics:
This first one is the actual entree I got...delicious.
In addition to the bread pudding, the chef brought out an additional dessert (I think he was bored!) chocolate chip cookie dough in fried wontons. Very good, but we were so full by this point we could only have a few bites...I hope he wasn't insulted.
But the most "interesting" thing he brought out was my appetizer...garlic mashed potatoes, with a fried green tomato, habanero sauce, and CHEETOS!! He was very proud of this...he clearly enjoyed having fun with the food! (Sorry for the blurry photo...) It was actually very good, although I am not sure about the cheetos...

The cheetos are kind of odd. You have to wonder where he got them from. Maybe from somebody's lunch box?
Can't wait to take my twin boys on their first trip to Walt Disney World! Planning on heading there sometime Feb-May 2014!

Just saw the Dragon Roll on the Food Network Friday Evening. They were doing a spot on Disney Dining. They were at the Contemporary's California Grille.

I'm sad I missed it. I'll have to check to see if it will be replayed.
