I believe I only mentioned one "nap attack". Why, are you hoping I need as many as you, gramps?Jacca5660 wrote: Yogi?? How many naps do you need?

Hey, M-dude! Be nice there. Hasn't anyone ever told you to respect your elders? Especially the elderly elders...Mousekedude wrote:I believe I only mentioned one "nap attack". Why, are you hoping I need as many as you, gramps?Jacca5660 wrote: Yogi?? How many naps do you need?

Re: Starbucks Coming to the Parks
Starbucks will not "take over" the Disney coffee market at WDW or DLR. They will be at select locations...from what I could tell.
Remember that Disney is much more powerful than any of the outside corporations that have a presence inside their parks. I am not a fan of Starbucks coffee since I too think it tastes a bit burnt...but I love their seasonal drinks. You can ask for modified versions of these drinks as well...that reduce sugar and fat content. You can even get decaff versions of all of their drinks if you want. DW had to do that while pregnant with our DS.
I am happy with the addition of Starbucks...but I probably won't take advantage of it anyway because I always bring my own coffee with me to make a pot in the room before heading to the parks. It's cheaper, easier, and gets me the jolt I need before I head out the door. If I want a pick-me-up while in the parks...I'll just head over to Mission Space or Expedition Everest.

They might take over, but not in the "there's a starbucks everywhere" way. Traditionally, they do not like to share space with others, so I would not be surprised if all the coffee served in the park was switched over and menus started having that little logo and message "Proudly serving starbucks coffee" added.

Maybe they'll sponsor the WoL...bringing it back to "life" with caffeine?Wizzard419 wrote:They might take over, but not in the "there's a starbucks everywhere" way. I figure they would just remove the land and turn it into a ride about coffee production.

I'm waiting for them to replace the Nescafe that's in the resorts with some real coffee. Starbucks would be fine but any good coffee would do (Pete's, Caribou, I don't care as long as it's something good and not burnt.)

Can you see it now? You could take a coffee mug along with you and scoop up a cup of joe as you ride along. Possibly throw in the Latte Waterfall...theBIGyowski wrote:Ooohhh...Wizzard419 wrote:I figure they would just remove the land and turn it into a ride about coffee production.

I'm not looking forward to this... like my coworker and I said, what's next, they strike a deal with Walmart and put one at Epcot or something? We have a Starbucks in our building and that is good enough for me!

I know it's a bad idea!!! The mere thought makes me sick. Sort of like why they struck a deal with Starbucks, Disney coffee isn't THAT bad.Jacca5660 wrote:Shhh!!!
