Re: Remember When?
Thanks for the link kcarts! I love old EPCOT!
I mentioned it in another thread, but does anyone remember the food in a cone served at the Magic Kingdom? I'll try and find some pics if I can. I loved that stuff!

Let me unwind the dial and let time escape some more: I remember when The Lion King (now Philharmagic) was the Mickey Mouse Revue!DisneyYorkie wrote:I remember when Philharmagic was The Lion King.
I remember the ski ride. My husband hates that that is gone now.
I never got to see 20,000 Leagues. It was gone when I made my first trip to the parks.

Re: Remember When?
I have such fond memories of the pink castle from the 25th... that was the first time I ever saw it and of course, it has a soft spot in my heart. I need to get my mom to send me all those pics...

Re: Remember When?
That was a fun little attraction. F1gment used to ride it over and over while I went on Space Mountain She really liked Delta DreamFlight too, but once Buzz Lightyear opened, she though that was much more fun to ride while I went on Space MountainMark86 wrote:Anybody remember the Delta DreamFlight? Just ran across a video of Delta Dream Flight while looking up what replaced the Timekeeper. Here is the link if anyone is interested... http://www.squidoo.com/vintagewaltdisneyworld You have to scroll down a little bit.

Sorry, I couldn't stand Delta DreamFlight. It was just a bunch of animated cardboard. Now for another remember when...Mark86 wrote:Anybody remember the Delta DreamFlight? Oh the good old days!
Who remembers "If You Had Wings", the attraction that preceded Delta Dreamflights?
Re: Remember When?
How about the Stars in Motorcars parade at "MGM" Studios? One of my favorites.

Re: Remember When?
Anybody remember those stationary bikes in the WoL?
What about when the Disney buses only had a single brown and orange stripe on them.

Re: Remember When?
yup, you could hear the slamming of the doors as they came from the front cab to the rear cab...
The cars were accessed by doors which were automatically opened (a loud clunk would be heard and the doors would swing open at the press of a control button on the outside of the monorail near the driver door) and manually closed by a cast member (who would walk from one end of the train to the other with his hand out, pushing the doors shut as he walked by).

Re: Remember When?
Hmmm, I'm going to have to ask F1gment if she remembers that or not. We went in 1983 I think and I'm sure we would have ridden the monorail when we went. I just don't remember that at alldstrawn9889 wrote:yup, you could hear the slamming of the doors as they came from the front cab to the rear cab...
