Oh I forgot about that, where apparently the return/ad revanue for reruns of recent shows was greater than that of old WoC/WDP stuff.

Does the Disney Channel have ad revenue? Wouldn't it need to have ads for ad revenue?

Unless they reverted back to the preium channel model they have commercial breaks since the late 90's. I've seen adverts for toys, food, disney products/vacations, and family vehicles (mini vans and SUVs).

What Disney channel are you watching? The only commercials on the Disney channel are for Disney properties.

The main one, I just saw (looking at it for an example) a commercial for a mini van, milk, and Michelle Obama's fitness campaign.

You don't really need cable/satelite television anymore now that most networks broadcast on their sites (with commercials) or you can use less savory methods such as torrents.

Either that, or for other DC shows or PSA's usually...

Then it appears the changes must have been recent, considering how much lament I've heard over the years at the axing of "Vault Disney" I am guessing that it doesn't really mean much since the programing is for kids and the parents that have been tricked by various groups.

I like the Disney channel! Baloo and I watch when it's just us. Disney has some of the best sitcoms. They are funny without being mean! They remind me of 1970's sitcoms.
